Abundant Blessings
Donations to Abundant Blessings allow us to fill in needed items, pay the utilities and allows our volunteers to manage appointments and support families. We also have a benevolence fund that has paid for needs such as pest treatment to allow children to exit foster care and live with a grandparent or filled in specific needs like braille cubes or big & tall sized clothing.
Friday Backpack program
Donations to the Friday Backpack program help cover the food costs each week of the school year. In 2021, we sent about 322 bags each week of the school year plus an additional 50 bags to summer school. We also held food pick ups every other week through the summer for families. So far in 2022, we are averaging 376 food bags each week and our food costs have increased significantly. We continue to work with local schools & adapt the Friday Backpack Program to best serve local children and families.
